    According to some, apparently this announcement isn’t good news!!!

    Iirc:

    Prior production estimate:
    10,000tpa for 16.5 years
    Prior resource estimate: 245kt
    Total product estimate: circa 165kt

    Current production estimate:
    12ktpa for 42 years
    Or
    24ktpa for 22 years
    Total product estimate: >500kt

    Resource estimate (as announced Jan 2024) increased by 180%
    Total product estimate (announced today) increased by over 200%

    ….yet it is, apparently, a “worse than expected result”.

    LET THAT SINK IN.


    Oh, and we got this zinger for free too:
    “there was talk about 50KTPA production in the announcements”
    ROFL
