Not sure. But if there was a result that deviated from the original plan, they would be duty-bound to release the details, yes? So my guess is that there was some sort of problem with the first core sample (could be a range of issues) and this may explain why they are going much slower than the P90. Undoubtedly, AP will leave us hanging on this question.
When you read back over all the presentations and releases - It sounds to me as though they will isolate and perforate somewhere in Alameda with the expectation that A3 will produce from that area (not lower in Marti). For this reason, I think the second core may someone relate to that objective. Either that, or they are seeing whether pososity is consistent across a wider section / depth of Alameda.
Certainly would be nice for the company to let us in on what they are thinking.
