I am not sure which funds you are accustomed to tracking or engaging with, but if you get a chance please take a look at the portfolio's of the following cohort and the stages they got involved and please opine on their track record of backing winners.
Baker bros, Deerfield, RA Cap, Orbimed, Perceptive, just to name a few.
As expected the fanboys are making excuses!
