I think your asking are the cores 100m in length?, if so no
Coring is difficult and time consuming, normally you'll get a pipe section ~9 meters at best per run.
I'd think they had an idea where they wanted to core from Alameda 1 but this can change as you drill and gather more info.
ROP can be an indication of lithology and be an indication of coring opportunities as are drilling returns
I'm very happy they've taken a coupleid be real concerned if they didn't bother
