Abbott is just a desperate, obsessed right wing nut that forages around in the muck to see what trouble he can stir up. This rot about the government intervening to defend troops in just typical of the sort of stuff that he thrives on. It's all he is. A muckraker.
One day you might hear him come up with something that is economically sensible, but don't ask him to explain it....lol.
