Now that someone else has posted the above, I don't mind filling in a few holes to clear up any misunderstanding.
Quoting the post above;
"During this time,partnership opportunities were presented to the Board to which the Board felt prudent to explore,"
Had the partnering opportunities not presented, the original cr would have gone ahead oversubscribed, with no options. Jayson was going to participate at that time but withdrew after the partnering opportunities were presented.
As I understand it, the lengthy delay as well as Jayson dropping out is why the options were offered.
So a bit of bad luck unfortunately with the partnering opportunities delaying the cr and led to the suspension.
If something good eventuates from those partnering opportunities, it might end up making up for the suspension and the need to issue the options as a sweetener.
