Thats an Excellent chart to reflect on , Joelstar . Thank you and I hope you don't mind repeating an updated posting of it on a "regular "basis , as you can .
I think you also have one for the Junior Gold Explorers ( the likes of Strickland (STK ) and Warriedar ( WA8) ...and repeating that would be of great value and interest also . The ones with cash , good tenements and a current drilling programme underway , should feature very well in the next few months .
On the particular chart you have posted --the top 3 performers in the past three months , are coming off very low and beaten down share prices from months/years ago . The performance of the XGD is also relevant , in that it gone up approx.10% in that 10 month time frame ( 7000 to 7700 ) ...so just highlighting what you have said , about the lack of investor support for the gold sector in general , with good gold producers still significantly underperforming ! Bull market in gold ..but certainly not Aussie gold stocks .
It will be interesting to see where ALK and a few others like Ramelius/ Silverlake/ Gold Road/ Westgold/ Evolution ( just more examples of underperformance in this period ) . move to in 3 to 6 months time , In a month , ALK will have a lot more awaited information out in the market place ..and its to be hoped that substantially reflects in ths share price .
