I agree, the skill set is in Quebec, and as some others come online this will start to spread. As for the money. The US has been subsidizing the fossil fuel industry for years when they are making profits like crazy, it is time to take some of those subsidies away and move them into lithium refining. Even if 15% to 20% of the subsidies were parceled off to LI refining it would be HUGE. Canada has a similar program, they just need to reallocate funds to the new tech.
