IMO Putin will remain President so long as he reflects the objectives of the Russian Armed Forces & Intelligence organisations. He knows that well from being a KGB officer in the past...All IMO only.
When the Kennedys tried to buck the US Military/Industrial Complex, they were topped and , IMO, so it would be with Putin.
Its the nature of the beast.
