So what, some yahoo Republican state official in a big, square-ish Western state said some mildly inflammatory stuff about an esoteric controversy over a lithium mine and probably only a few people even had any idea what they were talking about. And perhaps you’re right. On the other hand, we’ve been alleging for over 5 years now that a nefarious combination of federal and state officials are colluding with industry and bending the rules and outright breaking the law to allow Ioneer to develop a destructive lithium mine in a clearly inappropriate place which will send a rare species to extinction.”

The plant is being protected by Ioneer, at its expense. When the mine gets permitted, it will continue to be fully protected. It will not be allowed to become extinct under Ioneer’s care. Basic risk reward calculation. Oh maths again!

What he never acknowledges is the alternative - US will continue to import coal-powered processed Lithium from places like China where enormous climate damage goes completely unnoticed by the likes of Donnelly.




Ioneer is not just mining. It will make high grade battery chemicals, applying the best environmental standards and processes.

An unhinged radical that doesn’t understand logic and rational thought.
