So the bottom line for 23-24 Tax year is :
Individuals pay $ 330 Billion tax (personal + GST....companies dont pay GST)
Corporates pay : 93.9 Billion tax
Therefore individual Aussies pay 3.5 times that of corporates
In a country so rich with IO, Coal, LNG & Minerals ..that is
a fair stretch from being a "fair go" IMO.
To close the wealth divide, Multinationals need to be taxed higher
(EG Shell Oil despite an enormous price hike in Oil pricing doesn't expect to
pay any Aus Corporate tax until 2026!!....& I guess by then they will likely
have found yet another loophole!
So forget about the Aussie battlers...its the Billionaire/Corporations bludgers
that are the real threat IMO.
