Could be sooner but reckon EIS will be finalised in late September/early October in the lead up to elections. 30 day review period then ROD.

All relevant arms of US and state government are making damn sure that all bases are covered. CBD will have to move on. The plant will be protected. Nothing to discuss.

This will become a shining example of how to do this - protect the environment, create long term, multi-generational jobs and achieve national security goals.

The only issue that seems to unite Americans is anti-China.

During the public comment period, BLM will conduct one in-person and one virtual public meeting on the proposal and will continue to engage in government-to-government consultation with Tribal Nations. Input provided during the public comment period will inform the development of a final environmental review and record of decision for the proposal. A record of decision is expected before the end of the year.”
