Most violent offenders - or bullies - will attack someone smaller, more vulnerable, or without the inability to fight back. He actually went for a baby first, and the mother tried to protect it and got stabbed repeatedly in the back. My first thought. I actually know someone - male - that got stabbed multiple times, and he fought back and survived.
