@nursery; I'm not aware that anyone is defending what Hamas did to Israelis on October 7th, 2023 or that anyone thinks Hamas should be given a free pass for having done so.

But Netanyahu's Regime has NOT just targeted Hamas!

It has instead virtually reduced a densely populated region with 2,300,000 Palestinian civilians to rubble, destroying their homes, their schools, their hospitals, their shops, their businesses, their public infrastructure, their water supply, their mosques, their medical centres and even their refugee camps. Thus far Netanyahu's genocidal regime has already slaughtered more than 34,000 Palestinian civilians, mainly kids, women and wounded - in itself that's contrary to international law for the conduct of 'wars' and already dwarfs the human toll exacted by Hamas on Israelis.

But Netanyahu's Regime has also slaughtered journalists, international aid workers and even Iranian military personnel in the Iranian Embassy in Damascus. Those atrocities are also war crimes!

By any standards they're serious and reprehensible violations of humanitarian values, explaining why organisations including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch as well as individual countries are increasingly calling them out.
