re: genesis energy -just another scam? at the moment it seems unattainable - the same thing was said about nuclear power to in the 1930s nuclear fission was impossible (all except einstien and a few science buddies)
No i think the next gain in energy generation on a clean and much larger scale will come from high energy physics.
Ie fusion, he3 generation (would need to be mined from moon and 1 tonne of he3 would power the US for 1 year), antimatter or perhaps some other undiscovered quantum physics related discovery.
Though this genesis energy is no doubt a scam to lure investors to parting with their cash.
