i asked Ting about how many states of different cell impedence were desired by industry at Perth shindig. his response inferred 4 or so would be well received. have also seen some graphs on other reram (but filamentary I'm certain) from uni of Washington? or somewhere that showed reasonable difference (and polarity) between set and reset voltages for different states and the inherent hysteresis. 256 states seems very ambitious/difficult at such low voltages but if possible be very impressive. i imagine defining this and tweaking for repeatability would be complex
