Oh my goodness, you are quite amusing.
You blame feminism, how dare mere women leave their homes to go out into the workplace.
Should they be like their Grannies, completely dependent on “The head of the household”.

Barefoot and pregnant at every opportunity.
My Father rather had these old fashioned views, which made me laugh.
Truth is, a lot of men are/were so insecure that they did not want women to mix with other men in the workplace.
And dinner to be promptly served when they arrived home. Pipe and slippers waiting.

But, I will say from my observations that in a lot of ways, women have come off worse.
They land up doing almost everything. Breeding children, working almost up to their due date.
Then, as you said, putting their babies into childcare when mere infants.
Working full time and still lumbered with most of the domestic duties.
They are exhausted.

Where have all the feminists gone when we need them. Young women who have been to uni are woke.
They have nothing to say against certain breeds of immigrants who make their women walk around covered head to toe.
Many of these men think it is their right to use children for their sexual gratification.
But because this young generation are woke, they dare not speak out as they will sound like racists.

What this has to do with housing affordability, I do not know.
I am just having a rant.
We need world peace first and foremost.
