From Maros Sefcovic during the event:

"What is going to happen, in the next few weeks, we will see the critical raw materials act will enter into force at the beginning of May. Already in a few weeks time after that, we want to have the first board meeting which will be running the implementation of the CRMA. We will immediately start with the first call for the projects."

Sefcovic also states that on the 30th of April, companies that potentially have strategic projects will receive guidance on how to submit their application.

"We want to start work quickly, to list the most promising projects that we have in the European Union, so we can give them the seals of being strategic projects for Europe, which would allow us then to work together on feasibility studies, for funding/financing and to work together with all the national governments to make sure that the permitting use this overriding public principle approach and will get this permitting much faster than usual, because we know without CRMA, we will not build our climate neutral future..."
