The problem there is, and this recently happened with Newmont where they halved the div and I doubt anyone would admit to it but I wouldn't mind betting the usual suspects influenced that decision. These large funds are all about squeezing out the "mum and dad" investors and IMO the worst thing that happened to our markets. Look where the gold price is, and it is looking extremely bullish. Aussie gold mining stocks should be flying.
