I understood that they were not "forced" to go in the first place.... they asked for volunteers originally...after some time it may have been a bit more forceful ...but they weren't going to lose their public service job over it...just moved to another department
oh, and if you knew anything about Ag... he was one of the best we'd had... not saying that about the current version of Barnaby, but back then
