It is reported today that protests continue regarding the expansion of the output of the Los Broncos Copper Mine in Chile.
Where these protests go is anyone's guess however locals and environmentalists are far from happy.
This is one of the largest copper mines in the world. It produced 390,00o tonnes of copper in 2022.
Any reduction in output will add to the copper deficit the market is already experiencing.
