I partly agree. a) the should be transparency on the matter of Higgins' payout as its taxpayer money that has been given.
but many compensation claims are paid out every day for similar matters. its a legal requirement of work safe laws. imo its gone too far and $2.4Mn is too much imo.
I believe it has already been referred to the NACC. let's wait n see what comes of it. Unfortunately, the NACC doesn't announce cases that aren't deemed in the public interest so I doubt we'll hear anything.
but there are many examples of corruption in all govts. lets not pick sides but look at the broader picture.
