@UniversalTrader; both the Menzies and Whitlam governments sought to transform Australia into a harmonious 'clever country' - using free public education for all as Australia's great 'melting pot'.
Ever since then our pollies have pursued social division, turning the clock back by $Feeding $Greed while imposing HECs and fast-tracking education apartheid by pouring taxpayers' money into wealthy, privileged elitist, non value-adding 'private schools'.
The consequences throughout Australia of these regressive political decisions include youth alienation, homelessness, rising youth crime rates and youth self-harm.
Charting what our pollies have done to public education and the subsequent and unfolding consequences is a sobering reality check demonstrating the extent to which Australia has dropped the ball in its lust for satiating $Greed.
