re: would be an awesome short of the year..not just having read the prospectus for the rights issue and all of the last 6 mnths ann.i would have to argue that we may have seen the lows in this stock.sure it undoubtbly is a risk..as is any stock but from what i have read the risks have been well managed in regards to the company going forward..i wonder y major creditors and the banks have oppted to accept part paymnets of thier debt in the form of shares in the company.if you were a major international bank with its reputation in the public eye would you consider accepting shares in a compnay that you didnt have faith in.or if you were a creditor of the company,would you accept shares in the company in lieu of payment unless you could see that the value of those shares would appreciate enough to cover the debt to you and a sizeable profit for the risk you are taking.


as the company has stated the majority of the probelms in the last yr were due to influences which were out of its control...and sure these risks r still there,but the majority have been well assesed and mitigated.the majority of which were the global regulatory certification of its products..which now have been largely completed.

IHG's currant order book has $32,000,000 of jobs on the go,which is 75% of the budgeted fy05 target,with a further 27-40 million dollars of prospective business in the next 6mnths..if this eventuates..it will take it above fy05 budgeted targets...and for the longer term[2yrs] it has prospective business to the value of $123 million + of which the implementation by banks world wide of the EMV standard will make up a sizable portion of IHG revenue.

understandably the amount of issued shares is a concern....but having seen the major holders and financiers stick by this company i am bouyed in my opinion that getting in at these levels will be rewarding
