As I see it China is unlikely to shift its orientation at least until February 25.
That said .....
If Xi finds himself cogratulating Biden or Harris he may start to distance himself from Putin. Supporting an indefinate war in Europe with Putin as partner is not in China's interests.
China could hold Russia together in a sort of a way but with the Eastern part turning to China for mutual opportunities that won't ever come from a central government in Moscow.
