Also Ukraine were fighting on for months without any US support and presumably ould be prepared to again ......then that bill for a lot more aid got passed .
This latter tends to speak against the US exerting any effort to stop Ukraine fighting .

China can win in other ways out of this war too if russia were to totally collapse ......or if global economy weakens then China could begin to lose out of the war and would wish to see it stopped .
Surely their ally have become something of an embarrasment to them .

I think most economists are expecting world economy to weaken going forward .
