I think its a good question for CE to clarify.
eg. If we drill a $10k hole in principal amount (ex gst), what rebate does that provide given the 38.75% tax rebate noted.
To what is the rebate applied against? the full principal cost of the drill ? or some other tax component.
If someone told me i can get a rebate for buying say, ABC, i would not have thought it was tied to a GST thing. Its more like an incentive thing i would have thought. I would have assumed it is based on the principal component.
Rebate, has special meaning in tax lingo.
Clarification required.
