NATO never asked for it at all !
They never wanted to see an invasion of Ulraine - never wanted to have to fork out all this money for armaments or stop the trade in russian gas - these were things they really didn't need but were forced on them by russia because that precedent of russian conquest of a neighbour cannot be allowed to stand.

I see the UK have now increased defence budget from 2.2% of GDP to 2.5% .
This is indicative of the whole of Europe seeing the danger of the russian threat .

Make no mistake ......russia has CHOSEN this path and has already suffered the consequences of it with a lot more to come .
Your silly idea that it is somehow wrong to aid a country defending itself from aggression is one you and all pro russ here need to re-think because the best thing for russia is to stop this war of conquestr now and cut their losses ---- because NATO countries ...and others are not prepared to stand back and just allow russia to take over Ukraine .
