The important thing is whether you learn from that experience, and it appears you haven't. Industry experts widely agree that the lithium price surge that coincided with AGY's billion dollar MC was unsustainable and unlikely to reoccur. So instead of clinging to false hope, I opted to sell incrementally as the price declined, acknowledging the reality on display from various indicators. I could have chosen to live in denial, watch more capital disappear, and just pretend it was heading back to 80 cents, but it seems you already had that covered.
Interestingly, despite the approval of the EIA, AGY's share price has now simply returned to the lowest point at which I ever sold. This contradicts the expectations of many here who anticipated a significant rise, and gloated about how others would "miss the boat". It seems there's a while to board yet....
Regarding your request for financial modelling, it seems pretty futile without a detailed understanding of factors like the expected level of dilution or a completed DFS. I was hoping we'd have one right now, but unfortunately the feasibility study is another missed milestone that's currently about four months overdue. In the meantime, we'll just have to make do with the expertise of the enthusiasts here projecting billion-dollar market caps without any basis at all.
I've noticed you never ask any of these starry-eyed optimists for their financial modelling though. Isn't that odd.......
