While I would say 1.8B estimations are a little farfetched I think, what needs to be factored in is the timing of the deals and at the price of Li.
While your comparison is an evaluation is 715m AUD, even at half the eval that is still nearly 100% from here. You also need to factor in if Li pricing increases so does our MC. If it triples in price over the next few years that would take our MC up too the Billion mark.

I don't think this will get to 1B this year but in the next 2 years, it most certainly is plausible.

I think your comment around the muted response on the ASX today says it all. People are too focused on making money in a day or a week.
Most companies that have good news that have had good news, get sold into before the rerate actually begins. Especially companies like AGY that haven't maintained any momentum for 18 months.

While I understand there are many that have held from the lofty heights of 80c, the realistic nature is right now, the RvR on AGY is considerably better than it was yesterday. The ability to produce 6x times the amount as yesterday warrants more thana 10% increase to the SP.

AGY will take longer to gain momentum because it has taken 2 years of "imminent" to become a reality. This costs the company buy in however, all that left now is the filtering issue. Once resolved, offtakes will be banging on the door. As you said, Ganfend just invested in something down the road so there are going to be interest.

While 1.8B is out of reach, more than happy to take a 5x from here in the coming year.
