Is taking your payout to France a strategy to avoid paying for one's defamation?
Are the assets not touchable there for some reason?
I recall Jimmy Barnes moved to France around the time he was bankrupted by the ATO and other creditors. Not such a good Australian is one to not pay their debts and then make riches and not contribute back to the debts incurred previously.
