It's no different to the previous announcement where I supplied the link. You could've easily have applied your thesis back in 2020. Nuclear subs? And when exactly will they be delivered? If they're on schedule, we're looking at a decade. So are you saying that an F35 doesn't already have capability for satellite communications?

Let's be clear. This is a renewed contract for SDA. 4 years ago, it was $5.1m contract. 4 years later it's a $5m contract.

I think that you may be a little confused. This is no longer spacelink. EOS can no longer "see further". The talk of space warfare from Andreas is a pipedream and like you say, it's a medium term proposition. I'd suggest that it's a long(ish) term proposition. Seeing as space awareness has been the signature of EOS, in 21 years, they've done nothing with it. Barely made a cent in profit from space.

There are no 'clear funding priorities'. Only a tweak in dialogue.

Back before the IFV program was slashed from 450 to 129 vehicles, I suggested that the government would defer that spend on IFV's and concentrate on missile and naval defence. I explained that it seemed logical that seeing as we had a moat around our whole continent, that the government would look to deploy the funds elsewhere. Because let's face it, if the enemy manage to reach our shores, IFV's are going to be totally useless. Have you seen what happens to our country when we have a deluge of rain? We have a major highway, a railway, some comms towers. This meek infrastructure gets knocked out and we're fighting each other in the supermarket for a roll of toilet paper. Someone bagged me and started posting definitions of what a "moat" actually means. But here we are.

Honestly, I don't understand your remark in relation to the government having clear funding priorities?

it equates to $1.25m per year. Doesn't look like much of a priority to me.

My point is that if you're suggesting that this whole "space" thing is so critical to the operational capability of a nuclear sub and F35's, then I'd counter argue by saying that 5 million bucks is like p1ssing in the wind for something so important. A token gesture in fact for the further enhancement of space domain awareness. 5 million bucks at this particular point in time, isn't the same as 5 million bucks pre-covid when the company had virtually zero debt (and still couldn't turn a profit).
