As I read it, the article says they are getting rid of 30 staff (4 teams) from their Sydney office, which I'm assuming had responsibility for their Australian based investments (e.g. Australian based investments etc...). These investments account for 6% of their global investments, so surely all this suggests they are reducing their Australian investments by a much higher % amount. They specifically say the investment team responsible for "emerging companies" is being closed. It seems highly likely that would include WBT and any short contracts they still have. It's good riddance to them anyway, I hope they made zero profit from their shorts on WBT.
