The falsification of record checks was conducted by frotnline workers due to them wanting to take shortcuts on doing their job. This was not organised and condoned by management. Management were unaware it was occurring. All those frontline staff involved have now been fired. Nobody can stop people signing records incorrectly or taking shortcuts it happens all the time within various government departments. The important thing is it is not condoned and dealt with appropriately when discovered. You can't blame the management for what seven workers decided to do amoung themselves to get out of doing their job. Should the non compliant staff have been discovered more quickly, well yes probably. The function is new and is basically designed to force customers to stop being customers for a forced period of time by telling them that they need a mandatory break. It is ultimately nanny state stuff. It is not occurring in any clubs NSW venues or pubs. You can stay on the machines as long as you like in there.
