I get your point @wotsup and largely agree with you. A few wayward comments chosen to discredit the CC don't define the CC. The CC has been around for a while so finding wayward comments to discredit them shouldn't be difficult, especially for those who spend a lot of their time discrediting them. If you want to find human shortcomings in the CC ask a Catholic - I'm sure that @ppm56 will help out. But don't expect these shortcomings will define the CC. As for the sun god, I'll leave that delusion to you.
