I have seen this computer trading starting a long time ago.
Actually I know a few guys who worked as an option trader in Amsterdam on the European Option Exchange. Since everything became computerized they had to find a new job and this is what they tried to do. I have never heard of real money that was made. Its all based on the principle of trying to make money between the bids and offers. It works in certain stocks but it does not in other stocks.
But more important. It has nothing to do with manipulating
