''But the average car only travels about 40 km a day
Depends on where you live and what you use it for''
Sorry - a nation AVERAGE --------------- is an 'average' -------------- the name is a bit of a giveaway
we are talking about a grid SYSTEM --------------- so we talk in averages ---------- not what you or dave or anyone else does
Dave's Tesla on average uses about 3.2 KwH per day - Dave is about rough as guts 'half' the daily national car travel person -
so if we double that - the AVERAGE car would us about 6.4 KwH per day (I previously got all generous and guessed 7)
that's what we factor in (6.4)--------------- NOT a full charge of 50 or 70
When people say - oh, how much petrol does your car use ------------ you don't tell them 100 litres a day
just because that the car tank capacity is 100 litres
I would have thought that one fairly obvious - but, it seems that the most basic of concepts needs a lot of assistance to be communicated on HC
