The above is really revealing why this news didn't really move the market today.
retail punters confused
it's a 50/50 jv
the parties to the jv have different obligations to contribute, benefit in different ways etc...
just because we are 50% in the jv doesn't mean we need to fund 50% of the capital, or mean we should retain 50% of offtake.
clearly to secure their 75% offtake, jc will do heavy lifting on the capital raise.
i might contact Andrew and suggest they clarify some things or at least make them more explicit
