Translated, basically Lepidolite processing is causing an environmental catastrophe in that region.
To date, it appears regulators have been turning a blind eye to the issue and only imposing superficial controls on treatment of waste so the Chinese dominance of supply chains can continue.
Will the western world and OEM’s stop talking green and impose tougher ESG requirements on battery material sources.
