    I probably know how the political process works better than you derrick (that name suits BTW). It seems the government has the numbers in the Senate when it suits them but they don't when it doesn't suit them. The call it a political quid pro quo which means that we will pass that legislation if you do this little job for me - been happening since the Romans invented the phrase quid pro quo.

    On average about 139 Bills get passed each year.

    If the ALP can't pass laws as you suggest - then they should hand the keys in to the GG and get out
