Seems pretty far fetched for two employees to claim 30-50M in damages for what seems like trivial issues and so what if the CEO was rooting the HR manager. I will wait with bated breath to see the actual claim. It does however cast doubt on the company and possibly the culture within it. Quite likely there will be some negotiated settlement, if it's not too outrageous, with management not admitting liability and stating that it would have been too disruptive to business to fight this. In other words that it's simply cheaper to pay out. So probably we will never really know what happened. I guess that's what these two employees may be hoping for. I do know, this fiasco whoever maybe to blame, has eroded my profits for something I have no control over. I would like to see the responsible people/person to be adequately punished either by loss of share issues/ bonuses and perhaps even given the sack.
