Hi Brad. I have been on the Mkt for over 30 years and I wish I had more fully understood the importance of TA a lot earlier.

A majority of gaps do fill, however we do get breakaway gaps on strong volume. If EXR was $10 bucks I would highly doubt this gap would fill but it's 11c.

The 200 ema is at 8.7 c and guess where the gap starts - 8.6 c. The 200 EMA has been important since start of December 2023.

I love using the Bollie bands and we see that the median bollie was in play today - 10 c. We also see that the recent rise followed a gapping of the bands and the upper bollie was in play until the trading halt. I sold my 50 k trading parcel there as a result for good coin. I bought back today on the median bollie but would not be surprised to see the sp retreat to the 200ema. And if it does that then the gap fill may as well follow.

A gap fill doesn't mean the sp is heading there for long. Technically it just cleans things up.

If it gap fills, I will buy another 50 k. Structure in stocks is good (my view as a trader). I have no doubt that the big money that influences Sp also follows structure.

I have made an enormous amount of coin on Exr due to following structure. So I am very confident that this will continue to be important.

I always maintain my holdings, but trade my trading parcels. I constantly advocate this on all stocks you hold where the fundamentals are solid. Which I believe EXR are.

So while I can see that trader_10 annoys you, there is a great deal of merit in following the Ta as well as the fundamentals.

    All the best
