    As someone who operates data centres I can tell you it is nearly unheard of to lose power at a data centre for more than a few hours. Therefore I would be happy with a few days retention with SCM!
    After a few days we would be operating happily alternate locations and would be happy to restore the data from backup, say an on-site NAND flash array, which would be very fast.
