Raider, if I understand your post correctly, you present as being in the biotech business or knowing it very well; and have serious doubts/concerns about Novartis' true agenda in this deal and the level of care factor by IMU's directors.

So why is your sentiment a buy and you continue to hold? A bit inconsistent, one would think.

Furthermore, if IMU's product has the potential to upset the market equilibrium, then I as Novartis CEO, would definitely not bury the technology but wield it asap in order to weaken my competitors' market share. My Novartis shareholders would crucify me had I wasted a golden opportunity just to spite a junior biotech.

My suggested scenario happens all the time too. Look to all the mergers and acquisitions taking place around us. Or look to Roche/Tamiflu, or GSK/Relenza, etc.

We all want the best outcome for IMU. Right now, the hush-hush approach is testing our patience. It helps to reduce pessimism if we try to see both sides of the coin.
