"because the Word in verses 1 and 2 became flesh and dwelt among us verse 14."

I SEE you're picking cherries again and abandoning the lead in TRUTHS.
You fell for the oldest deception trick in the Book, read 1 & 2 and immediately jump to 1:14, you took the bait, hook line and sinker, the deception pretty much smack dead center of the Bible rolleyes.png

And the Word man became and NOT and the Word became Man -> DRRRRR.

Word God and Word man, Jesus is being referenced as Word Man and that should be no surprise as he is given the name -> The Word of God.
You're not what you're of, you crazy one tongue.png
He is deemed as a Word of God, titled with "The", God's Key representative for the word of God, the word of life, which gave Jesus life in himself John 5:26, 6:63, 68.

So Jesus is defined as Word Man as per Luke shows he was in effect Made by the word Isa 55:10,11, became -> on the scene and dwelt among us and we beheld the glory of him, glory as only begotten by the side of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The grace and truth is the word of God given to him = glory.
John 17:8 - For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
17:17 - Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
17:22 - And the glory (words) which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: = in word, like I and the Father are one = In word.

You can only become one as they are one by accepting the word of God, living and breathing it, so to speak, it becoming you or your way of life = Glory here is in reference to the word of God.
    ------------
The first 13 verse of John are all pretty much about Yehowah, introducing him, who was, what was and what his word means, represents and brings.
Mal 3:1 - “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to the temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says Yehowah of hosts.
Isa 40:3 - The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yehowah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God…

And sure enough, not long after Jesus meets John the Baptist, he turns up at the Temple.

Yehowah God according to Jesus 17:3 - This now is the eternal life, that they should know
You (Father) the Only True God and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ (The Son OF the only true God).

Hence the writer of John as well as John the Baptist, picks up on this, introducing Yehowah who is soon to send his son, after raising him.

Repeat -> The first 13 verses of John are all pretty much about Yehowa, introducing him, who was, what was and what his word means, represents and brings and this message flows in PERFECT chronological order, like water flowing off a ducks back and NOT like the following crazy notions.

You lot falsely claim the following is Jesus -> John 1:11 - He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
(Just look to the pre flood account, most did not receive Yehowah, just like they didn't receive the son).

He then goes into panic mode and apparently jumps back into Mary's womb and pops out again, supposedly at 1:14. tongue.png
1:14 is zero to do with his beginnings, birth etc, that is well and truly covered elsewhere.
DO YOU SEE HOW STUPID THIS CLAIM IS, THE SAID STORY JUMPING FORWARD AND THEN BACKWARDS = WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH.

John 1:10 - He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

Isa 44:24 - Thus saith Yehowah, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I
    Yehowah that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
Psa 33:6,9 - By the word of Yehowah the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

John 1:1,2 are The God and his logos/plans, if you claim Jesus is the Word, then John 1:3 DEMANDS that you show that Jesus spoke the Gens creation into being, as you cannot separate 1,2 & 3.
    1:3 Is part of Yehowah's logos/plan 1 & 2, expressed into action.

    Jesus had ZERO hands on in creation and he also confirms this in the following;
Matt 19:4 - And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’

You cannot tell me that if Jesus was there, that he wouldn't have said, 'we" created them. rolleyes.png
His language here clearly implies, that he found out by reading the scriptures, which he often quoted.
    --------------
The Word = logos/plan also became creation and also entered the Temple, Jesus, without measure, as He repeatedly says, I speak Not of myself.
John 3:34 - For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for (because Luke 4:18) God does not give the Spirit by measure.
Jesus was flesh and he makes it very clear that the words of the flesh profit nothing, hence he said he speaks the words (Fathers) of Spirit and Life. John 6:63
If he was the Word, he would be speaking of himself and not what he was told to say.

NO WORDS OF JESUS'S PRE THE CROSS HAS HIM SAYING, I GO
    BACK TO THE FATHER. rolleyes.png
