I’m still optimistic, particularly regarding the timing of this cap raise. Why do they need the money now? They haven’t overly burnt through the previous round of funds and there’s still 9 million in the bank. Plenty of time keep negotiating the $100 million offer, which according to @JGPM is still ongoing. Do they have something that can give them leverage to sweeten the deal and they need the 30 million now that will put them in the stronger position to negotiate?
Think laterally rather than vertically and you will adopt the mindset of a good MD. CE needs to put us in a good strategic position to be able to negotiate effectively on the $100 million deal. What does he have up his sleeve that needs that 30 million now? It’s an abnormally large raise at an even more abnormally large discount. What’s going on?
