Exactly how do they benefit? They produce recreational products in Canada not the USA. They aren't allowed to send recreational products across international borders e.g. between Canada and USA. Rescheduling doesn't change this. The big winners here are the operators in the USA who may be able to send their products across state borders within the USA and access banking and financial services
Down the road the knock-on effect may be that other countries like Australia decide to decriminalise cannabis which would be a massive boon to companies growing recreational cannabis here in Aus. It won't be allowed to be imported though.
