Perhaps if this were true, when DM was put on the spot with the "if we know competitors, the competitors and industry would know us" - rather than looking away sheepishly and saying "we are really small" he could have said "they know us" or "some know about us and we are trying to spread the word to a larger audience". The fact that he didn't implies that 'they' don't know us or don't care to know us i.e. no buyer. I would love to be proven wrong, but I doubt I will be!
