What some people don't seem to realise that their are property investors who take out an interest only line of credit, buy multiple investment properties all of which make a loss & pay practically no tax despute earning $150-$200K+.
Residential property investment has become gamble on prices continuously rising so that when you sell your property for gain you hope it covers all your losses from renting.
Why else would you buy a property on a 3% yield before financing costs?
