When you walk away from bad things you are also walking away from some positive things.
Have to 'man up' regardless of your sex and find them elsewhere.
My father was not all bad. But he lied repeatedly and put the family's home at risk by doing so. For my mother the repeated lies, and consequences that went with them were crossing the line, even in the absence of violence. Others will have their own line. Judgement has to be exercised.
